Reseaching the modern history of emergency legislations in Europe to prepare their future.
Delivering a chronological examination and a timeline of the practice of emergency in relation to economic, social and political crises EMERGE critically re-evaluates key moments in European constitutional history from 1914 to 2020. In this way, this project offers a comprehensive analysis of emergency by forging a unique multidisciplinary approach drawing on comparative legal history, legal theory and digital humanities
